Danube Engineering Hub in collaboration with Spiru Haret University, through the USH Pro Business Entrepreneurship Center in Ploiesti, organized on June 1, 2019, the International Child's Day, the event A bot's life. Robotics and applied computer science. Second Edition.

The event was attended by children from primary school, together with parents, benefiting from a knowledge transfer with practical examples on robotics and applied computing.

European Association of Regional Development Agencies and the business environment from the South-Muntenia region

In April 2-3, 2019, the European Association of Regional Development Agencies (EURADA) delegation, represented by Mr. Esteban Pelayo, (director) and Giacomo Frisanco (counsellor) visited the Danube Engineering Hub Cluster headquarters and was interested in its activity and involvement in the innovative ecosystem.

The representatives of EURADA, which is a decisive factor in guiding the policies of sustainable regional development, appreciated the activities of the cluster and its efforts to integrate the offer and to negotiate with the marketing chains but also to support the research and innovation.


Day of Prahova region clusters

Danube Engineering Hub together with USH Pro Business and Bio Concept Valea Prahovei Cluster organized an event dedicated to SMEs, members of the clusters developed in the Southern Region - Muntenia, in Ploiesti on October 19, 2018. The purpose of clusters meeting was to increase the market competitiveness of the regional and local companies, this desired assuming the connection of the cluster members through joint initiatives, real collaboration, the support of the local actors, represented by public administrations, university education institutions, technology transfer centers, export business centers, regional development agencies, professional organizations.

The purpose of the event was to capitalize the capacity for cooperation and intelligent specialization between the fields of organic agriculture, ecological tourism, engineering and information technology and to identify thematic areas of research-innovation for collaboration, which, subsequently, will allow innovation in the South Muntenia region to be accelerated.
